NONNA’S MEATBALL SUB
Juicy Meatballs On A Cheesy Sub
Ingredients
- Bakers Maison Half Baguette
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 cup Cream
- 170 g Ground Beef
- 100 g Ground Pork
- Half Small Onion Finely Chopped
- 1 Garlic Clove Minced
- 1 Egg Lightly Beaten
- Italian Napolitana Sauce
- Mozzarella & Parmesan
- Fresh Basil
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients to make your meatballs and roll them into mini balls.
- Fry your meatballs in a heated pan with olive oil until nicely browned and cooked through
- Add the Napolitana sauce and cookfor 10 mins.
- Slice the Baguette lengthways and add some of the cooked saucefirst. Add the meatballs and drizzle more sauce on top of themeatballs.
- Add the Mozzarella and pop in the oven at 180C for 5 mins or until the cheese has melted.
- Remove from the oven and add the fresh basil and sprinkle some parmesan. Add salt & pepper to taste and serve. Enjoy!
