NONNA’S MEATBALL SUB
Juicy Meatballs On A Cheesy Sub
- Bakers Maison Half Baguette
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 cup Cream
- 170 g Ground Beef
- 100 g Ground Pork
- Half Small Onion Finely Chopped
- 1 Garlic Clove Minced
- 1 Egg Lightly Beaten
- Italian Napolitana Sauce
- Mozzarella & Parmesan
- Fresh Basil
- Salt & Pepper
Combine all the ingredients to make your meatballs and roll them into mini balls.
Fry your meatballs in a heated pan with olive oil until nicely browned and cooked through
Add the Napolitana sauce and cookfor 10 mins.
Slice the Baguette lengthways and add some of the cooked saucefirst. Add the meatballs and drizzle more sauce on top of themeatballs.
Add the Mozzarella and pop in the oven at 180C for 5 mins or until the cheese has melted.
Remove from the oven and add the fresh basil and sprinkle some parmesan. Add salt & pepper to taste and serve. Enjoy!
